My Hero Academia manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. The manga is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2014. As of August 4, 2021, the manga has been compiled into 31 tankōbon volumes.
My Hero Academia’s plot revolves around Izuku Midoriya, a kid born without superpowers (Quirks) in a world where they are ubiquitous. Izuku aspires to be a superhero himself but he cannot as he doesn’t have any Quirks. All Might, Japan’s greatest hero, scouts him and picks Midoriya as his successor, sharing his Quirk with him after recognizing his potential, and subsequently assisting him in enrolling in a renowned high school.
