On Friday, Blade Runner: Black Lotus anime revealed the new trailer and art for the series at Comic-Con@Home 2021 live-stream on YouTube. Crunchyroll and Adult Swim are partnering with Alcon Entertainment to produce the series.

Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama are directing the anime at studio Sola Digital Arts.

The trailer previews the song “Feel You Now” by Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Alessia Cara.

The narrative of Blade Runner: Black Lotus will take place in 2032, between the two films, and will feature several well-known movie characters.

Crunchyroll previously aired the anime short “Blade Runner: Black Out 2022” in September 2017. The short was aired before the release of Blade Runner 2049.
