Its been over 4 months since the anime was announced and finally we have more information about the series. On Thursday, the official Twitter account and website of Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu anime (Vampire Cosmonaut) revealed the shows new cast, staff, theme song, visual, character designs and October release date.
The anime will air on the Tokyo MX, BS NTV, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto channels in October.

The opening theme song “Hi no Tsuki” (Scarlet Moon)” will be performed by the rock band Ali Project. Chima will be responsible for the ending theme song “Arifureta Itsuka” (Everyday Someday).
Synopsis

Vampire Cosmonaut takes place 10 years after a long war divided the world into two superpowers: The Union of Zirnitra Republics in the east, and the United Kingdom of Arnak in the west. These two superpowers are now testing their ambitions against each other in a race for space. We follow the daily life of Lev Leps, a reserve astronaut candidate, and his new teammate, the vampire Irina Ruminescu. In a bold new Operation Nosferatu, Project Mechtat will use Irina as a guinea pig to test the various conditions expected in space, and ultimately as a member of a manned mission. Lev oversees Irina’s training as a cosmonaut. For their own reasons, both dream of going to space.
