Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon

On Tuesday, Kadokawa revealed that Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (Jidōhanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyū ni Samayō) light novel is getting a manga adaption. The manga is going to be illustrated by Kunieda (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?).

The manga is going to be published in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Daioh shonen magazine in the next issue on August 27. ASCII Media Works is a publisher and brand company of Kadokawa Future Publishing.

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (Jidōhanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyū ni Samayō) novel was originally published in 2016 by Hirukuma on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō.

Later, it was acquired by Kadokawa in the same year. Kodakawa began publishing the light novel in Kadokawa Shoten’s Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. As of February 1, 2017, three volumes have been published.

The light novel is licensed by Yen Press in English for North America. The company describes the story as:
A middle-aged man with only one passion in his life meets a fitting end in a traffic accident. That’s where most stories would end, but instead, this is when his story begins when he’s reborn as what he admired the most in life–a vending machine! But his new lease on life(?) happens in the worst place possible–what can a vending machine do in a monster-infested dungeon when he can’t speak or even move on his own?
