The live-action film sequel, Kakegurui: Zettai Zetsumei Russian Roulette (Kakegurui: Last Resort Russian Roulette), will now be released on May 12, according to the official website. The live-action adaptation is based on the manga Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler by Homura Kawamoto and Tru Naomura.
The film was supposed to be released on April 29, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 and the declaration of a state of emergency in four prefectures. The new state of emergency is set to end on May 11.
