On Friday, the official website of Blue Lock anime confirmed that the anime will premiere in October. The website also published a promotional video for the anime, a new key visual, and ten new additional cast members were revealed.
Blue Lock anime will air on TV Asahi and its affiliates in the “NUMAnimation” programming block. The anime is based on Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura’s Blue Lock soccer manga of the same name.

Synopsis

In August 2018, Blue Lock manga was launched in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Last year, the manga received the Best Shōnen Manga award at Kodansha’s 45th annual Manga Awards. As of March 17, 2022, 18 volumes have been released.
