On Friday, ABC announced that Rent-A-Girlfriend live-action TV series has been Green-lit for July 2022. The cast are as follows –
Ryūsei Ōnishi (Naniwa Danshi idol group member) as the protagonist Kazuya Kinoshita.
Hiyori Sakurada as the heroine Chizuru Mizuhara.
Ryūsei Ōnishi is know form starring in the live-action Seiho Boys’ High School!. Hiyori Sakurada is known for her role in live-action Tokyo Ghoul.
Rent-A-Girlfriend live-action series will air on Sundays at 11:55 p.m. on the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation TV channel, and on Sunday at 02:30 a.m., it will air on TV Asahi.
Rent-A-Girlfriend live-action series will be directed by Daisuke Yamamoto and Kumiko Asō will handle the scripts.
In July 2017, Miyajima published the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The manga also inspired a 12-episode television anime, which began on July 10, 2020. In July, a second season will broadcast on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliates as part of the Super Animeism programming block.
