On Monday, the official website for Dr. Stone stage play revealed the promotional video, cast and visual. The stage play is official titled “Dr. Stone The Stage: Science World” and it is an adaption of Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki’s manga of the same name.
From July 9 to 18, the play will be performed in Tokyo, followed by a run in Kobe from July 21 to 24. The Dr. Stone stage play will incorporate genuine science experiments and is billed as “enjoyable for both kids and parents.”

Synopsis
The synopsis of Dr. Stone stage play as described by the official site – One day, a mysterious phenomenon occurs in which human beings all over the world petrify (turn to stone) in an instant. About 3,700 years later, Senku, a genius high school student with a superhuman brain, wakes up from the petrification. In front of the stone world where civilisation is destroyed, Senku swears to regain the world from scratch with the power of science.
Manga & Anime
Dr. Stone manga was first published in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017 by Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and Inagaki (author of Eyeshield 21) and finished on March 7, 2022.
In July 2019, the first television animation aired. The anime’s second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, began in January 2021. In July 2022, the anime special Dr. Stone: Ryusui will premiere on Tokyo MX and BS11 which will focus on Ryusui. The anime will be renewed for a third season in 2023.
