Rurouni Kenshin: The Final releases new trailer on Warner Brothers Official Channel on YouTube. The movie follows the third and final arc also known as Jinchu Arc from the classic manga series written by Nobuhiro Watsuki.
Story
The story begins when Kenshin is confronted by his Brother-in-Law, Yukishiro Enishi, whose sister (Kenshins first wife) was killed by him. Jinchu (Human Punishment) is a campaign led by Enishi with his horde of warriors against Kenshin and his allies to make him suffer for his sins.
Rurouni Kenshin: The Final is slated for release this April 23, 2021 in Japan. This film is first of two. The second film is titled ‘Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning‘ and it is slated for release on June 4, 2021. Overall this is the fourth and fifth live action movie in the franchise.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Final shooting spanned over 7 months between November 4, 2018 to June 28, 2019. The shooting was carried out in multiple locations with over 6000 extras.
The original anime and manga are classics loved by many; it has been a gateway anime for most of the fans that exist today. The original manga was serialised between April 25, 1994 – September 21, 1999 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Presently, Rurouni Kenshin: The Hokkaido Arc is serialised in Jump Square but due to Child Pornography charges on the author the series went on Hiatus in November 2017 and was later resumed serialization in June 2018.
