On Wednesday, April 13, Bandai Namco Entertainment America revealed that the DLC character Giorno Giovanna from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind would be added to the Jump Force fighting game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 13. On Friday, Character Pass 2 will give early access to the character. Giorno is the last character to be introduced in the second character pass. Check out the character trailer below.
The game’s Character Pass 2 also added Yoruichi Shihōin from Bleach, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia, and Meruem from Hunter x Hunter before this. Spike Chunsoft created the game, which was released in February 2019 in the Americas, Europe, and Japan for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam.

Jump Force had 40 playable characters on launch from the 16 Shonen Jump magazine series. Another 14 characters were added as a DLC via Character Passes and 3 more were added as a free update. The total number of playable characters is 57. In addition, players can create their own unique character with vast customizing options such as clothes, abilities, accessories, etc.
The game was nominated 4 times in multiple award categories such as Best Fighting Game at Game Critics Awards (2018) and The Game Awards 2019(2019). In 2020, it was nominated for Fighting Game of the Year and Game, Franchise Fighting at 23rd Annual D.I.C.E. Awards and NAVGTR Awards respectively.
