But it seems like fandom has mixed reaction on how the series has wrapped up. While a lot of fans are satisfied with the way manga ended. A vocal majority have been expressing disappointment at how manga concluded on Twitter.
On one side fans are expressing their gratitude to Isayama and congratulating him on his completion of Attack on Titans manga.
However, a lot of fans claim that they felt let down and disappointed with how Eren’s story wrapped up.
Personally, I highly doubted any ending would’ve satisfied the entire fandom, there will always be people who will complain after all. While I can see where the criticism is coming from, like making Mikasa the person to end the titan curse development feels last minute. Also all this time it felt like Mikasa had unrequited love for Eren and Eren didn’t love her that way but Eren straight-up confesses his love for her to Armin felt a little empty to me. But I don’t think it ruined my experience of manga as a whole at all. I think the end was good enough and it tried to tie all the loose ends.
In closing, I’ll just like to say #ThankYouIsayama
