On Monday, Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that they will publish a one-shot special of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga in the upcoming 36th and 37th combined issues on August 10th. The one-shot will have 73 pages with one color page.
The chapter is being released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the manga. Bleach manga began publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on 2001 and concluded on 2016. VIZ media was publishing the manga digitally and in print for North America. The manga has been complied in 74 tankōbon volumes released between January 5, 2002 and November 4, 2016.

An anime adaption was released on October 2004 and it ran for a total of 366 episodes before concluding in March 2012, covering 1 to 55 volumes of the manga. The anime was directed by Noriyuki Abe at studio Pierrot (Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Black Clover).
A new anime adaptation based on the manga’s “Thousand Year Blood War” storyline is in the works. The arc is the manga’s final arc, and it spans from volume 55 to volume 74.
Kubo Tite is also working on season 2 of Burn the Witch manga. Burn the Witch is set in the Bleach world and follows two witches, Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole, who work for the Western Branch of Soul Society in Reverse London.
