On Wednesday, the official website for the Isekai Quartet series revealed that an anime film will be released in 2022. A promotional video, returning staff details, and visual poster was also revealed by the website.
Isekai Quartet is an anime series that features a chibi-style crossover of Kadokawa’s light novel series such as KonoSuba, Overlord, Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World, and Saga of Tanya the Evil. The first season of the anime aired from April 2019 and concluded June 2019, consisting of 12 episodes.
A 12-episode season two aired from January 2020 to March 2020 featuring new characters from The Rising of the Shield Hero and Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered yet Overly Cautious. In April 2020, thee last episode of the Isekai Quartet season two anime confirmed that season 3 has been green-lit.
The anime is licensed in North America by Crunchyroll and Funimation. Muse Communication has the right for Southeast Asian Countries. Funimation describes the plot as:
