Parul Bhatnagar, voice actress for the Hindi Dub version of Shin-Chan and Doraemon, teased that a Shin-Chan film will air soon in India. She teased this on her YouTube Channel – Parul Bhatnagar. She plays the character Shizuka Minamoto from Doraemon and Kazama Toru from Shin-Chan.
Parul Bhatnagar also mentions that there are no Doraemon films lined up.
The Hindi Dub version of Shin-Chan film and series were hit by production delays which was explain by Voice Actor Gaurav Marwaha on his YouTube channel – Gaurav Marwaha.
Hindi dub version of the anime started airing in India on Hungama TV in 2006. It was criticized a lot by Parents due to Shin-Chan’s behavior and attitude towards his parents. The show was banned by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (India) in 2008. However, the show was revived in 2009 but it was heavily censored.
As of October 2020, 13 films of Shin-Chan have been dubbed in multiple Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The show is loved by millions of kids and adults in India and all over the world.
