On Saturday, Pop Circuit revealed on their Instagram account that the deadline for their Cosplay Contest is August 10. They also announced that “Switch Fest” will air on August 15 (Independence Day). Pop Circuit will invite the finest submissions to their YouTube livestream to speak with the judges about their lives and cosplay work.
Fee and Prize Pool
The one-time participation fee for the contest is ₹100. The prize pool for the contest is a whopping ₹25000 worth of cash and anime merchandise.
Judges
The event will be sponsored by Epic Stuff India and presented by Zolives restaurant. The judges are:

Categories
Cosplays can be submitted in the below mentioned categories.
- Best Overall Cosplay
This will be based and judged on the photographs submitted and the accuracy of the cosplay with the character reference to decide the overall best Cosplay. - Best Video Performance
This category will be based on the creativity and originality presented on the video to judge the best video performance. The video must be a minimum length of 45 seconds up to a maximum length of 2 minutes. (Extras without cosplay can be used, editing is not allowed) - Best Makeup
Requires : Before and After photos, Before and After photos in closeup (different photographs) - Best Low Budget Cosplay
This will be based on simple cosplay that is done with the least amount of effort and materials and still does the job of what a good cosplay is about based on the accuracy with the character reference. - Best Edited Cosplay
The photos of the before and after edit will be compared and judgement will be based on the difference between the two (different photographs)
