The official website for The Rising of the Shield Hero season 2 television anime series announced on Thursday that the anime’s premiere date has been postponed to April 2022 due to “various reasons”.

Synopsis
One Peace Books describes the novels’ first volume:

The Rising of the Shield Hero anime series debuted in January 2019 with a two-hour special and lasted for 25 episodes. Crunchyroll broadcasted the series as it aired in Japan.
Aneko Yusagi’s The Rising of the Shield Hero is a dark fantasy isekai light novel series originally released as a web novel on the user-generated novel site Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The series was later published by Media Factory with an extended storyline and artwork by Seira Minami. One Peace Books is publishing the novel in English for North America.
On June 29, 2021, One Peace Books announced on Twitter that it had released an audiobook for the volume one of the series which is narrated by Kurt Kanazawa (Tad on Grey’s Anatomy).
