On Thursday, Kodansha’s Dessert magazine revealed that Yubisaki to Renren manga (A Sign of Affection) is going on hiatus due to writer and story boarder Makiro’s due date. The manga is expected to return in November.
Kodansha Comics describes Yubisaki to Renren manga’s plot as follows:
Yuki is a typical college student, whose world revolves around her friends, social media, and the latest sales. But when a chance encounter on a train leads to her meeting friend-of-a-friend and fellow student Itsuomi-san, her world starts to widen. But even though Itsuomi-kun can speak three languages, sign language isn’t one of them. Can the two learn to communicate the budding feelings between them?
Check out our review on the series – Yubisaki to Renren Manga – Bringing Flutters to your Heart. Our writer Pixie describes the show as:
“There’s a calming feeling when you read this manga. The way how Itsuomi-Kun makes an effort into learning sign language and seeing Yuki feeling so happy and confident about things makes you feel good while reading this manga. The supporting characters also have a cute story brewing. The relationship between Yuki and Itsuomi-Kun is so adorable that you can’t help but love them. The pacing of the story is also good and doesn’t make you lose interest in the story.“
