On Thursday, Crunchyroll revealed new opening and a new visual teaser for Blade Runner: Black Lotus anime during its Crunchyroll Expo. “Feel You Now” by Alessia Cara is played in the video. The anime will premiere in November 2021.

On July 7, 2021, Crunchyroll and Adult Swim revealed the English and Japanese casts for Blade Runner: Black Lotus. The 13-episode television anime series will be produced by the two companies in collaboration with Alcon Entertainment. The anime is based on Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to the 1982 film Blade Runner.
The narrative of Blade Runner: Black Lotus will take place in 2032, between the two films, and will feature several well-known movie characters.
