On Tuesday, the official website of Platinum End anime revealed two new cast members that are joining the team. The website also revealed that the anime will premiere on October 7 on TBS and October 8 on BS11.
Kaori Maeda will voice Mimi Yamada and Shōya Chiba will voice Mizukiyo Minamikawa. Check out the character designs below.
As previously announced the anime will run for 24 episodes without any break adapting entire story of the manga.

Viz Media describes how the story begins:
As his classmates celebrate their middle school graduation, troubled Mirai is mired in darkness. But his battle is just beginning when he receives some salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle in which the winner becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a devil to survive.
Platinum End is written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata (both worked on Death Note, Bakuman). The duo began the Platinum End manga in November 2015 in Shueisha’s Jump SQ. magazine and completed it on January 4, 2021. On February 4, Shueisha released the 14th and final volume. Platinum End is licensed in North America by Viz Media, with chapters distributed online in English as they were published in Japan.
